I offer cookery classes and demonstrations for individuals and groups, food consultancy and recipe development. With my extensive experience of cooking delicious, nutritious food for a wide range of diets, I am happy to develop a truly tailored approach with you, whatever you are looking for. I am based in the village of Motcombe, near Shaftesbury in Dorset.
I was introduced to good food at an early age and soon developed a life-long love of cooking. After my classical training at Leiths School of Food & Wine, I went on to cook at Ottolenghi in London, Le Manoir de Raynaudes in southwest France, Chez Panisse near San Francisco, CKVerbier in the Swiss Alps and CKRock in Cornwall. All these places have influenced the food I love to make, resulting in a modern European style, but with many flavours and techniques from the Mediterranean, the Middle East and California, using the best seasonal, local and organic produce available. I then spent over 10 years working around the world as a private chef, cookery teacher and recipe developer, cooking for and teaching individuals and groups, including regular courses at the beautiful Denman College in Oxfordshire. I have also developed recipes for my own gluten-free recipe apps and respected food brands.
